Remind: The UNIX Geek's Ultimate Calendar Tool

Remind started out as an MS-DOS-based replacement for the UNIX calendar
command. Since then, it has grown into a ridiculously-flexible calendar
and reminder system. While Remind remains a true old-style UNIX
command-line tool, various back-ends add graphical interfaces and
Postscript output so even die-hard GUI fans can feel comfortable with
Remind. This talk will cover the basics of Remind and give you a taste
for some advanced Remind programming.

David Skoll started writing Remind in 1989 in an effort to avoid doing
real work, and he continues developing it to this day for the same reason.
