[Clo] Problème avec usb sur un laptop

Salutation
J'ai un ordinateur portable de marque Toshiba M40 et j'ai installé
Ubuntu 7.04 sur celui-ci. Finalement avec l'installation de pilotes
propriétaires (wireless atheros et vidéo ati ), mon portable fonctionne
convenablement sous linux, ce qui n'était pas le cas par le passé.
Cependant j'ai un problème avec les ports usb. Ceux-ci sont reconnus au
démarrage et fonctionne correctement pendant quelque temps mais au cours
de la session en cours, ceux-ci deviennent inutilisables car linux
semble éprouvé de sérieuses difficultés à garder ceux-ci en fonction.
C'est vraiment frustant de se retrouver sans souris, clavier, ainsi que
la perte des clés usb. Bref Linux n'est pas fiable sur mon portable pour
le moment.
J'ai regardé sur internet et j'ai trouvé une information à propos du
paramètre irqpool qui devrait être transmis au démarrage. Pour le
moment, je n'ai pas d'idée exact sur ce que fait ce paramètre et
pourquoi celui-ci serait nécessaire à mon laptop.
Avez-vous des idées sur le sujet?
